21 Miler

A little chilly this AM and especially at Boston College where we all met to grab a bus to the start line in Hopkinton for our 21 mile training run on the course that would end just after Heartbreak Hill right by BC. Once we got to Hopkinton, it was still quite cold but we got going with a fairly large group and started to warm up immediately. By the time we got to Ashland I realized that it was just a perfect day for a run. I really did well on this run and got a great sense of the first 9 miles of the course that we did not get to see on the 17 mile training run last month which started at mile 9 and ended at the finish line on Boylston Street in Boston. At this point I have seen the entire course over 2 runs and I know it has done wonders in terms of preparing me for the big day. I feel like I have trained well for this race but only time will tell how prepared I am for this amazing race.
